Full backup/restore for Samsung Galaxy with nandroid
Wednesday, August 5th, 2009After a long work i have created a new recovery image. This containts a new gui and a full working nandroid backup and restore. The backup and restore is tested and it works great. The only issue is, that the date of the files from /data is from the backup day. But this does not happens.

Fix a new firmware update the compass issue?

the compass of the Samsung Galaxy has some problems with north/south. This is not fixed in the I7500VIAIG6 update from last Wednesday. But the authors from WikiTune have received an email from Samsung, that a new update will fix it.

Better Nandroid in a few days

Really Full Root
Friday, July 31st, 2009Yesterday, i describe the steps to got full root on Samsung Galaxy. After a few test, i found the howto is incomplete. There is a root adb access on the phone, but on the galaxy user interface is no root. So, here the steps to change it.
a) First, you have all the steps from this Full root on Samsung Galaxy without NPS completed!
Update: Do all the steps in normal boot mode. After my howto from yesterday you have allready a root adb shell!
b) Open a adb shell on your computer
